Time to start cooking.
I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and get my own blog. I have been thinking about starting one for a while, but could never make that final step and just create one. It’s like when I watch cooking shows but never actually make the recipes.
I have just started my class using blogs to reflect on their learning, and believed that I almost had a responsibility to blog myself. The straw that broke the camel’s back came on Saturday at the ICTEV conference. Through reading other blogs and listening to various podcasts, I too became aware of the number of teachers that were doing really great things with technology in their classrooms. Meeting these people face to face gave me the encouragement I needed to finally get started. So I signed up to Twitter, and became a member of OZ/NZ educators.
Here I am; I wonder what I’ll discover?
Welcome to the edublogosphere, Mark. I also began my blogging journey this year in January and have shared it with my class. We have a class blog and many students also have their own individual blog. I have begun using a wiki during history lessons and next term will use photostory3 for digital storytelling. I am learning along with my class who are also teaching me things when they use their mobile phones for recording etc.
